Milwaukee Brewers Playing at Grayhawk for Charity Golf Tournament

Player registration for the Bob Uecker Front Row Classic will be starting in just a couple hours at Grayhawk Golf Club. This charity golf tournament will be benefitting Make-a-Wish Arizona, our local chapter of the non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children with life-threatening conditions. The tournament will be held on the award-winning Talon golf course and will feature a few big-name guests.

Many of the players, staff, and coaches for the Milwaukee Brewers will be taking the day off of Spring Training to join Grayhawk golfers at the tourney. Golf and baseball enthusiasts alike look forward to seeing the team on the course, enjoying the laidback atmosphere of one of Scottsdale’s finest golf clubs. Don’t miss this chance to play alongside the Milwaukee Brewers and to benefit a great cause.

The Bob Uecher Front Row Classic will begin with a 1 p.m. shotgun start, but not before participants can enjoy a noon BBQ lunch on the driving range. During the tournament, players can access the on-course comfort station and open bar. There will be a silent auction after play, and at 6 p.m., an awards ceremony will be held with appetizers and cocktails. Players will also receive a luxury gift bag. Come out for an exciting day of play on one of America’s Top 100 Courses.

Come Out for Grayhawk’s Black and White Casino Night!

Looking for a fun night out with dancing, games, and prizes? Come to Grayhawk Golf Club for their first-ever Casino Night! Test your luck and skill with great casino games such as Poker, Craps and Roulette, and enjoy agrayhawk golf club myriad of fun-filled activities throughout the night.

This spectacular event will take place at the Fairway House on Friday, March 14th at 7-11 p.m. The theme for the evening is “Black and White,” and guests are encouraged to dress the part. Aside from casino games, there will be appetizers, a cash bar, a DJ, dancing and even a raffle with tons of exciting prizes. This is Grayhawk’s very first Casino Night, so be sure to bring your friends and make this event one to remember!

Golfer vs. Jumping Cholla. Who Wins?

Scottsdale golf courses have so much to offer: lush fairways, beautiful scenery, pink sunsets, grand boulders and a warm climate.

But when it comes to those pretty jumping chollas – try not to touch. Instead, enjoy their beauty from afar.

Jumping chollas are easily identifiable, therefore pretty easy to avoid. Unfortunately, the golfer pictured to the right found himself in a scuffle with a cholla. Jumping chollas are known for their ability to break off thorny segments that then bounce erratically in the wind.

The good news is, the landscape team at the Grayhawk golf courses are very aware of the plant and what it’s capable of. They try to ensure that the cholla is not located in places where golfers may roam. This golfer was on a different course in Scottsdale when this photo was taken.

As part of The Phoenix Open festivities the Grayhawk Golf Club will be hosting the Scottsdale Celebrity Am Golf Tournament.
